Error: Invalid User ID or Password

Problem

This error is caused by entering a username and password combination that does not match our records, and looks like the following:

Solution

This error can be fixed by doing the following:

  1. Resetting your password will ensure that you are entering the correct password. Click the “HERE” link included in the error message, and follow the instructions to reset your password (see How do I reset my SecureMail password? or [LINK HERE])
  2. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password.
  3. Once you’ve done that, log in using the new password you just created.
Note

If you did not receive an email, check your spam folder. Depending on your company’s security settings, sometimes DataMotion notifications may be marked as spam. If you’re not receiving the email notification, please contact your company administrator to ensure that you entered the correct email address.
